I will setup a project contains about 65 ip cameras.I am planning to use Mikrotik SXT to transmit video data to the main ap.
My system will be like that
IP Camera ==========> Switch(Sometimes i don’t need to use)============>MikrotikSXT =======>RocketM5 (Airmax Antenna)=======>HP procurve gigabit managed switch
I’ll connect ip cameras using ethernet port on SXT
At some peers I need to connect more than one camera.
If i need to use more than one camera i’ll use switch hub.
I’ll connect SXTs to a central access point to transmit video data.
Is it possible?
I am confused about license levels.

I’ll use 4 RocketM5 with airmax mimo sector antennas.
Use 4xrb433ah if you need. It depends on de bwidth needs.. I dont recoment ubnt with sxt for a project like that.. Use 711 board with 433ahs..
can i use rb800 instead of 4 rb433ahs
Which bandwidth you need? You can move 45 mb tcp easy with 1x433ah for the cams.. You can move up to 60 mbps.. But if you have a lot of cams.. You can divide in groups using about 45mb
each cam consume 2-3 mbit bandwith
total bw is between 130-195 mbit
The point that i wonder is connecting SXTs as a wireless client to RB433AHs or RB800s.
A guy make me confused about License levels.He told me that i can not use SXT and Any other board except same one.
You can use 4x433ah and 711’s.. But its a lot of BW…! if there are more people using same channels.. You will have problems.
5ghz is a new tech in here.Area that setup will be made is a little bit remote.I don’t believe that we affect interferation from someone else.
Then, if you use 4x40 Mhz channels, you will get all the available BW.. and no problems with cams ; ) good luck!

But I have to make sure that SXTs working as client with 433AH APs
SXTs will work too, but I prefer 711 with better enclosure..
