I have ordered myself a few SXT but I have noticed that they are really weak, I cannot even connect to a link that is more than 5km, I am running Dbii F50 Pro Radios on the 16dbu sectors, and these SXT on 2km Have an signal quality of -85, Is that normal?
You are loosing 20dB somewhere…
For your 2Km link, you should have signal at -65dB, and they are very accurate for calcs of signal prediction.
Clear LOS?
Clean Fresnel?
MMCX pigtails?
Sector antenna quality?
I have a bunch of them working and they are quite amazing for it´s price.
Link between two SXT with 4,1Km clear LOS and clean fresnel, signal is -73dB rock solid.

SXT’s are not weak, you have a problem somewhere and I believe is polarisation mismatch. By default SXT have only H pol. active. You must activate second chain.
Turn your SXT 90 degree and you will get adequate signal strength.
how SXT should be aligned ? 4 holes for air in below or at some side ? and then sign mikrotik is top to bottom ?
May be you need to use my Reflector SXT http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/reflector-sxt-live-test/48217/1 for a better result.

Sounds like a polarity mismatch. The two SXTs I’ve been using get a lot better signal levels than what you’re seeing at those ranges.

but in winter ? if snow covers inside of this box, and when after sun shines, there will be ice ! what about signal trough ice and snow?
now is Summer 
we will see how does it performs in Winter.
Gerneraly ther is enough space arround the antenna for ice and snow.
I tihnk it will be better as the antenna without cover.
Because snow and ice will directly cover the antenna.
