Mikrotik SXT2 - Error 4way handshake timeout

Hello.
Last week i purchase the Mikrotik RBSXT-2nDr2 to transfer from a small distance wifi to my warehouse.
Everything working fine from open networks, but when i connect it to WPA-WPA2 networks gives me : @wlan1: lost connection, received deauth: 4-way handshake timeout (15).
I search on google for that problem but i haven’t found a solution for that.

This means you type the wrong password

No. The password I’m typing is correct.
The dissasotiation I think it’s because the security is wpa2/tkip.

  1. Go to Wireless - Security Profiles, Press the + button and create new profile with the wpa2/tkip and the wireless key and save it something like “wpa2-tkip”
  2. Go to Wireless - WiFi Interfaces. Choose the wlan. Go to Wireless tab and in Security profile: choose “wpa2-tkip”

Same error JB172.

Are you talking about the same AP you are connected without wireless security, and the only difference is that you change the security from open to wpa2/tkip on AP and the client and you can’t connect?

Do not use WPA / TKIP, it is not safe. Since 2006, the device MUST supported WPA / WPA2 AES.
WPA / WPA2 with TKIP slows down your Wi-Fi, and today not all TKIP wifi devices support it.
You need to look into your network card documentation.

The best option is to use only WPA2 AES and WPA not to switch on.

There are two connections.
One open witch its working fine.
And another one with wp2 / tkip.

I know it is not safe but its my neighbor wifi so i cannot ask him to change it for me.

Solved.

How ?

Eventually i ask my neighbor to change the router setting and he agree.
I change the channel from 8 to 1 ( ZTE Router) restart and the connection seems fine.
