Hello, I am beginner with MikroTik and I would like to ask for help. I need to know how should I do routing for Synology Hyper Backup. In attachement there is scheme and I have no idea how to do the routing between this 2 synology devices. HyperBackup should use port 6281.
What does Synology state regarding security? Is the synchronisation protocol encrypted on its own or it relies on an external encryption for links across the internet? Depending on that, it is either sufficient to set up port forwarding at the site where the NAS will act as a server in the Hyperbackup session (search for “port forwarding” and/or “dst-nat”), or you have to set up a VPN between the sites and routing between the two LAN subnets via the tunnel.
