Mikrotik Transceiver over Cisco SW (SFP & SFP+)

Hello,

Does anyone tried mikrotik transceiver on a Cisco SW? I have S-3553LC20D and S+31DLC10D but none of them are working I got the following on the Cisco SW.

Gi1/0/1 err-disabled 202 auto auto unsupported

I fixed the err disabled but I am still having issue.

Gi1/0/1 notconnect 202 auto auto unsupported

Never worked with a Cisco switch, but the HP switches I have are very picky about what SFPs will work in them. I would suspect you are running into a similar situation. I did discover that a a couple SFPs that I bought to try in the HP 2610-48 (unsuccessfully), worked just fine in a RB260GS. :smiley:

That is the truth, Mikrotik transceiver can not works with Cisco, because they need re-coded.
