I have been following the Mikrotik forums and other users problems related to the Ubiquiti XR3 card. Since it is common to kill an XR3, I thought it would be prudent to make sure I don’t make the same mistakes.
I just built a new site, It has three XR3 cards in a RB600A. We are using 120* Panel directional antennas. This tower is over a 100’ so he put atleast 20’ of vertical spacing to try and eliminate back-lobe talk (or whatever the phrase may be when the antennas of cards can ‘hear’ each other.)
At any rate I noticed in a previous thread someone stated that a signal strength of 30dBm is certain to kill another card. I’m not sure what they meant, a signal of -30 perhaps?
I set all of the NICs in to AP Bridge mode and did a scan-- this is what it looks like-- (clickable for larger image)

I have since disabled the cards to make sure they don’t fry each other. Do you think that any of these cards are too close together or ‘talking too loudly’? I certainly don’t want to fry any of the cards.
Do you have any other hints or tricks with this card I should be aware of?
Thanks!
PS An extra thanks to Tom @ rocnoc… He’s been an incredible asset in the purchase and deployment of these…
