Mikrotik UPS Support since 6.4x.x

HI,

I have several x86 and Mikrotik systems running on ROS 6.39.3 with a APC Smart-UPS C 1000 FW:UPS 10.0 / ID=1005
The UPS is connected by USB
They show the following info:

  • Model
  • Serial Number
  • Manufacture date
  • Nominal Battery Voltage
  • Run time left
    -Battery Change
  • Line Voltage
  • Status: On Line

However, i have some newer systems running ROS 6.40.7 and 6.41.2 and i am missing a lot of UPS info on these systems.
The connected UPS’s are exactly the same as stated above, with same firmware and ID.
But all the info i get is:

  • Serial Number
  • Run time left
  • Status: On Line

Is this a bug or is Mikrotik dropping support for APC Smart UPS’s?

Hello

In the changelog as per link below, I see that in version 6.42 there have been some modifications regarding the UPS.

If possible, upgrade to test.

Hi Leoservices,

I updated to 6.42.1 and still no change in the UPS information shown.

I’ll send a support request to Mikrotik.

Did you get back any support/information on how to get this solved or will downgrading be the only option to get a Smart UPS working with a MikroTik device?
