This was short lived. This router/switch is junk (CRS309). It’s not worth the cheap price for the pain this thing offers and don’t want to have backend storage that fails in 2 weeks cause the “network seized up”. just read all the problems this thing has and experience it…

  1. The same 2M DAC cable didn’t work from the MikroTik to the SFP+ on a 48 PoE Unifi switch but works fine from a Nic to the same port on the switch, in a computer.
  2. Setting to swos makes the system unusable upon reboot with no idea as to why. Network shows 0.0.0.0. ???
  3. Only 6 ports init on boot.
  4. An unbelievable amount of “bugs” reported here and issues with running switches that just stop working after awhile and need a reboot or fail when a new untested piece of software is released…

For the price of 280 vs 500 for a Unifi product the pain and instability isn’t worth the savings. Save yourselves and get the 12 port SFP+ with 4 RJ45 10G ports with much better stability and UI and features that work as expected and tested. You’ll be happier for it.

Maybe if you could explain better we could help you. Have you tried booting it with Routeros and use winbox to configure? Otherwise, you can always ship the switch to me, I have use for it! :wink:

Definetly Mikrotik products is not for all especially for persons whois not tech savvy at all :laughing:
