I’ve got a complicated, for me anyway, system that I had to takeover. I need to get VLAN traffic to pass through the mikrotik and out to the Internet. Here is what we have.
FIOS ONT to Mikrotik Ether 1. Ether 2 is my computer I’m programming with. Ether 3 feeds a Cisco managed switch.
Cisco managed switch is in charge of DHCP and VLAN tagging. There are five VLANs. Most pressing right now is VLAN4 which all iPhones, iPads, laptops etc get tagged with by the cisco switch. I need to get this Vlan to pass through the mikrotik to the internet. I’ve just started an extremely basic program on the RB750GL.
This is replacing a broken Pakedge so I don’t know all the setup info from it.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m sure it is a simple firewall rule or bridge or something but I’m stumped.
