Mikrotik was hacked ans reset button disabled

Hi, my Mikrotik RB2011U was hacked , I cannot login and the reset button seems disabled because it does not load default settings after holding on the button. ¿What can i do?

I guess you didn’t have a password or a firewall.
Hold the reset button while powering up the device. Hold some 3-4 minutes. Release. Reboot.

Maybe you have read access with Winbox and “admin” user?

I did no have password. Just user: admin and the defaul firewall

And probably your internet is a pppoe? Default firewall is for ether1 protection, as you connect to pppoe, the rules don’t apply and you are exposed. Anyway, post you WAN IP.

This is not true for quite some time now. Default configuration uses address lists.

Read the changelog of v6.40 (2017-Jul-21 08:45)

I found out that those changelogs are not accurate like “some time” ago.

Changelogs on MikroTik are some of the best available, there are never bland statements. Previously (like v3.X) I believe the logs weren’t great but certainly I can vouch from 6.1X onwards they have been amazing!

Do you actually own an RB product to gather this information from as you quite clearly beg for one in another of your threads?

I want to ask
I have default configuration with pppoe to eth1. Do you think i am ok with defconf rules (firewall)

thanks

No.. don’t…

Oh, you already helped the guy telekineticaly? Or else, STFU!

What I said is a fact. If you don’t believe in facts, you should be in “some home for…”

You have a VERY aggressive, arrogant attitude for someone who has only been here for 1 day and has managed to post 36 similarly styled messages.

And then you go DEMANDING other users’ IP addresses (I wouldn’t give you mine, no matter how much sh*t I was in) and telling them to STFU.

Perhaps you should moderate you attitude and your language. Maybe then people might take you more seriously. I expect you can imagine what a lot of people think of you right now, or maybe you can’t.

Kackele was banned for one day.

Guys don’t be hard on Kackele, he wants to help…

Kackele, I trust you, here is my ip: 127.52.78.2, it’s FTTP.

If default configuration is from v6.40 then yes.
