Thanks, but i steel don´t understand the advantages or functions.
Thanks for some help

Regular AP’s have nowhere near the amount of flexibility or functions a mikrotik does.

Also, your provider probably gave them to you so you could setup a proper roaming mesh at the hotel.
May I ask why you are installing wireless at the hotel if you don’t have any experiance whatsoever? Shouldn’t they be telling you how to install it???

I would think that the Mikrotik will be used as a controller so you can provide usernames and passwords to your guests.

The AP will only serve exactly for that… access… the controlling is done by the mikrotik.

I’m actually working in hotel doing just abut that…

Wireless is not easy, particularly inside a building… good luck, particularly if you have no experience…

Truely, it can be magical in many ways.
When configured correctly, it can work miracles.
When configured incorrectly it can do mysterious things.

Best advice is to read the manual to see if it can do what you want it too.

It all depends on who is using it, and what they need it to do with it.

I wouldn’t say “read THE manual”.
If you do, you’ll probably won’t understand a word…
First you need to learn about networks, and there’s no particular place to do that!
You’ll have to study, here and there. Waste MUCH time trying to find where to study from. Read a lot.

Of course, you can have someone install everything for you. Just hope when trouble arises that someone is near to help you…

Best thing is to try to make something VERY simple and get it to work. Make sure you understand what’s going on. Have it working a few months. Then try to make little steps.

If your network can’t go down, pay for a professional. Don’t risk a do it yourself solution…
