Mikrotik Wireless + Hotspot + Repeater

Hello All,

Our customer has a complain .

He has a Mikrotik PC with 3 Wireless PCI Cards and 2 ethernet cards .

He installed Hotspot on the all 3 wireless cards and of course on the Local Network Ethernet .

For now he is using all wireless interfaces to serve as “AP BRIDGE” point to multi point .

Everything is working fine and every access point connected to the station clearly … but the problem is he can not use his access point to be as AP repeater to the Mikrotik …Why ?

I Hope this can be solved .

I think we have a problem with the configuration at Mikrotik ..

Can anyone help me with the best solution for us .

To connect another AP to MikroTik router you need to use WDS and your remote AP needs to support WDS. It’s probably easier to replace the AP with another MT router, then you don’t have to worry about incompatibility.
