Mikrotik Wireless NV2

Hi Guys,

So at this stage we are getting 30-35Mbps on nv2 with 25 connected customers in a interference free area, now without any additional nv2 downsteam settings. on nstreme we are getting around 40-45Mbps with the same connected customers, i have been curious if this is the limitation for mikrotik PtMP? we are using the mANTBox 19s with ROS 6.36.3 we have not upgraded the AP as we had some issues with DFS in interference areas and 6.36.3 seems to be the most stable at the moment but this is not my question.

i would like to know if i were to split the wlan1 into lets say 3x VWlans would i be able to achieve 90Mbps on nv2? since the 20mhz band is actually able to handle 144mbps or is it because the 2x2 mimo does not allow more customers to communicate with the sector at once thus limiting the flow of traffic to around 30-35Mbps on nv2?

We have a Cambium 450Medusa with 14x14 MU-MIMO and we have 40 customers running 10Mbps lines each doing 300-350Mbps during peak hours and the sector does not even limit out yet. now i know MU-MIMO has a big affect on this but im wondering if theres a better way to improve performance on Mikrotik PtMP without any hardcore changes HW/FW related?

We have a mANTBox 19s with 2x2 MIMO with 25 customers limiting at 30-35Mbps only with customers with 4Mbps packages and this means that 8-10 customers receive their full 4Mbps then the rest struggle to reach what they pay for

You are running an old version of RouterOS. Check if with newer versions you have your speed improved.
