We Are using mikrotik for few years now and have a good experience with it.
Last days we have Problem with Customer who use avaya as a telephone machine.
Since we installed mikrotik on Main Branche and 3 other Offices and all with vpn connected the Telefon Connection between branches is so Bad , it’s like jitter too high and there is packet lost.
We used another routers like fritzbox or bintec all Went well and voip as again good.
We used to Install mikrotik to customers Who use other Telefon System like 3CX or askozia or auerswald all work Great under vpn.
I tried packet priority for voip WITHOUT success.
Can some one help me what should we do in this case .

There is not much vendors could do differently on RTP, but use packet sniffing and analysis (using e.g. Wireshark) to see what their Avaya system uses for call signalling and how your Mikrotik’s traffic prioritization rules match it. It may be TCP, or UDP packets fragmented due to size.
