Mikrotik won't connect to hidden wi-fi

Hi everyone,
I’m using my router as a wi-fi client but it unable to connect to the hidden network.
If the wi-fi network I want connect to is SSID broadcast enabled, Mikrotik connects it just in a couple of seconds. However, if after that disable SSID broadcasts without changing any other settings, it wont connect.
Is there any solution how to force it to connect?

PS I understand that hiding wi-fi doesn’t improve security or give any other benefits but in this particular case I really need this network hidden. It’s the requirement.

Add an entry to the “connect list” in wireless tab with the necessary data for the wireless network!

it didn’t help while station mode was set up on the Virtual AP. However, after station settings were configured for the primary wlan, it connected to the hidden network without any settings in the connect list.
kinda strange.
