Mikrotik X86 router reset

Hello,

My router problem is when I change LAN interface ARP enable or reply-only then my router is reset, I am not understand why reset my router. Can anybody help me regarding this issue.

Problem with x86 based systems is each have its specific hardware components, making very difficult to troubleshoot.

you doesn’t mention RouterOS version nor any hardware details… please do.

Upgrade to latest bufix release (6.30.4 as of today) if you’re using another version.

If problem persist, check for supout.rif files that may have automatically generated by the watchdog (if it’s the watchdog what’s causing the reboots).

Most probably cause, a specific ethernet interface driver uncompatibility, or faulty card; try with a different ethernet card, you can check compatibility at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Supported_Hardware#Ethernet_chipsets.

If your card it’s supported, email support attaching the supout.rif file.
