I’m wondering about Mikrotik’s long-term orientation and strategy (if there is any)? As far as I’m aware of, besides the pretty active MT community and userbase, the fact that MT makes use of standard hardware components, your internally developed ROS-software seems to be among your biggest assets since MT’s founding in 1996. Although after reading so many threads complaining about unfixed bugs, for example within the routing engine, feature requests that have not been responded to for many years, the whole myth about ROSv7, I started wondering if ROS as an asset is really that valueable at all? Most of the frustration seems to have it’s roots solely within the software, not the hardware. Personally I perceive MT’s hardware as very well designed and estimate the fact, that among only a few other vendors left within Europe, MT designs and assembles it’s hardware fully within the European Union. Pricing of MT products even is fairly cheap compared to other vendors, which makes it affordable even for small businesses, to have some spare devices in the warehouse in case of failure.
-Could we may get some official statement on the future development of ROS, new products, etc.?
-What about the business/enterprise customer segement and paid support contracts?
-Are there any further plans for SDN solutions in the pipe?
-Where MT generally is heading to for the next years?
-Any plans regarding the stock market or an IPO? ![]()
