Mikrotik's Strange Login Issue Never Seen Before....!!

Hello There! I am facing very strange problem with Mikrotik Groove 52HPn. It is working fine in the network, but unable to login its giving the message “wrong username & password”, even entering correct login details i used to login daily. To fix this problem i tried to reset the Groove configuration to factory reset, it goes to reset process but still showing same network issued IP and not factory reset IP to login, still unable to login after hardware reset. Whats the issue ? Is Groove goes to faulty ? Any further help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried admin/no password?
This is the default for RouterOS. If you actually type a password, then it’s going to fail.

Sure! after hardware reset i have been tried with default login details :

username: admin
Password: blank

But no luck at all. Still unable to login. Don’t know why this is happening. After hardware reset on Groove it still links to the remote AP site with the same configuration (PtP) as done before. Very strange…!!

I’d say that it sounds like the configuration isn’t being reset if it’s still connecting to another site.

Yes! you are right. I think so… But after hardware reset on RB the configuration must be reset to factory-reset. That is the problem after hardware reset its still connecting to another site without any issue, but unable to login…!!

I guess I’d say make sure that your reset procedure is correct - and if nothing else works, perhaps you could netinstall the device to wipe it back to factory that way.

As per my reset procedure i first press the reset button on RB and then power up the device by keep pressing the reset button till its complete booting process. If i am wrong with the reset process please assist how to do this actually. I have already been done same process before without any issues.
