I have a mikrotik RB951Ui-2HnD configured with hotspot and usermanager It provides internet for approximately 40 people. Everything is working fine. It comes with the default L4 licence. My question is on the licencing. The licence supports 200 active hotspot users and 20 active user manager sessions
Lets say I create 40 users in usermanager user1,user2…user40 they are allowed 2 shared users.
if I was to give out 30 vouchers(user1..user30) to 30 people and they all login and start using the internet
I assume this will be viewed on mikrotik as
30 active hotspot user
30 active usermanager sessions*
lets say user1,user2,user3,user4 and user5 connect on their other devices using the same vouchers(since they are allowed a max of 2 per voucher)
I assume this will be viewed on mikrotik as
30 active hotspot users
35 active usermanager sessions
First are my assumptions correct?
secondly the limitation of 20 active sessions is it per user or total sessions of every user.
