We are looking into some heavy duty AP (Pentium 4 1ghz and up) of up the client load of the AP. I’m looking for any one who has had experiance (good or bad) with these boards, partiularly if it is a cold climate, as we can see temps down to -40c. They will be tower mounted so heating and venting of the enclosure is of interest too.
I remember seeing an old post about someone using the Lippert boards but can’t find the post anymore. If you read this post I’d like to ask you a couple of questions.
Thanks
Erik
I don’t happen to use Lippert boards but do have some mini-itx 1.6ghz AMD boards. A couple of Pentium 4M 1.7ghz boards. I’d be happy to share my knowledge/experience off forum.
I believe there was a company in the UK that had some ‘heavy duty’ pentium stuff…I can’t recall their name right off hand though.
