Mini PCIe
Has anyone tried the mini PCIe cards in an i386 platform with ROS 3X (I know 4X for “N”)
I am looking for a known atheros chipset thet is on a Mini PCIe Card…

I could try and boot something on my laptop. But I will need to install RouterOS on a thumbdrive. I have not done this …
4.0 Beta 3, I tested and it works. Its usefull for sniffing >:] But my card is N, the sr71-e. Laptop is HP >:] Core 2 Duo. Sending supout to support, maybe it will be useful for them 
So about your question - any Atheros 802.11a/b/g or Prism card should work with v 3x ! Mine did not work at all until I tried v 4.

I ordered an AR5413 based PCIe card and it WORKS !!!
Seated on an Intel ATOM based board and runs fine…
Not the greatest output power… but this unit isnt trying to serve the entire world…
Will be attaching a 5 dbi duck and using 411Rs for remote repeaters (wired and bridged to their wireless)
So let the age of realy small intel APs begin..
