Hi at all, i’m trying to change the boot device of my rb433ah from nand to ethernet in order to reinstall routeros on my card. My operating system is archlinux and i’m using minicom
minicom -v
minicom version 2.7 (compiled Jan 11 2014)
My serial/usb converter
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port
When the device boot up i can’t hit any key
Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..
Why???
I mean, i hit more keys but does’t appear the boot menu, so i can’t use netinstall
My minicom setup
A - Serial Device : /dev/ttyUSB0
B - Lockfile Location : /var/run
C - Callin Program :
D - Callout Program :
E - Bps/Par/Bits : 115200 8N1
F - Hardware Flow Control : Yes
G - Software Flow Control : No
and also with
F - Hardware Flow Control : No
same result.
Could someone help me?
On windows with putty working well. On linux with putty same problem of minicom.
