Minipci on the RB1100, RB1200, RB2011 series...

Any idea why there is no minipci on the RB1100, RB1200, RB2100 series…
if all that come with the minipci then we can do more on the wireless…
especially we required the SFP for it work with Minipci…

you can use RB800 for this purpose. Wireless speed can only reach around 300Mbit, you don’t need faster CPU for wireless.

what we plan is, we will make use the SFP for the LAN data connection.

and for sure, it will more reliable and stable compare to the Cat 5/6 connection.

please consider on this.

can we have at least 1 minipci slot?

as we have very bad experience on the R5h, and if it’s onboard, once the wireless card spoiled, then nothing we can do for it.

No, it will not have R5n onboard, it has a brand new Atheros chip. Something we have not used before.
No, there will be no miniPCI slot.
