what about previous versions? did reset-configuration affected user manager earlier?
Don’t know, I’ve just upgraded to this version as I wanted user manager package.
After writing last post, I’ve also found that after reset-configuration when all information in the menu is still available, removing only customer wipes the rest of information, whatever it is.
Is this behavior correct?
do you use regular package or the test version (see sticky topic in Userman forum)
I assume I’m using stable version, as I’ve downloaded the “All packages” zip file from mikrotik.com website ![]()
I’ve chosen stable version for RB400 series; I avoid to use betas and testing versions (currently).
The other package is significantly different, plus the “stable” you use hasn’t been developed in a long time, and if there are bugs, there will be no fixes.

Hey, isn’t this package on your main website marked as stable, tailored exactly for device one have? ![]()
Apparently you say it is not as stable as it should be and, if I get this correctly, I’m encouraged to use test package, right?
No, I said it was stable when we stopped updating it.
If you don’t like it, all changes will go into the next iteration, because usermanager has been completely rewritten.

I assume you mean version 5beta here? EDIT: yes.
BTW:
I’m not the only one struggling with versions apparently:
