mipsle firmware upgrade 5.17 and higher

The webpage gives two versions: adm5120-2.18.fwf and rc32434-2.18.fwf.

Are they the same?

Because I usually upgrade fw together with the ROS so all my routerboards have latest fw. But both rb5xx as rb1xx series have 2.18 installed and I use the same packages for these while upgrading.

If either one of the above mentioned fw’s are uploaded to either rb5xx or rb1xx the system / routerboard / pr command shows they are already running version 2.18.

So I don’t understand why the upgrade webpage has 2 different fw version where in the normal upgrade packages it looks like all mipsle have the same firmware?

Please some explanation.

adm5120-2.18.fwf is for rb112, 133, 192
and
rc32434-2.18.fwf is for rb532

Well, that is already said so on the webpage. But it doesn’t answer my question: Are they the same or not?

Both are version 2.18 but each for a different processor. So they are not the same

So, if I install a normal mipsle ‘routerboard’ package it has both versions embedded? And the software/routerboards knows which one to pick?

I mean, if I normally install a mipsle unit the package are the same, regardless which type of mipsle routerboard I have…
