Hi Everyone,
just tried to setup a mirror port on my RB493AH (trying, as the documentation states not all Chips in these systems support it.
The ICPlus175D does support Port Switching and Mirroring.
Anyway - here is what the system finds:
Flags: I - invalid
# NAME TYPE MIRROR-SOURCE MIRROR-TARGET SWITCH-ALL-PORTS
0 switch1 IC-Plus-178C none none
When I try to set this up though, it won’t take it.
[RB493AH] /interface ethernet switch> set numbers=0 mirror-source=Server mirror-target=Mirror
port mirroring not supported
Ok - I know that eventually the IC-Plus-178C does not support Mirror capability - but apparently the possibility is there.
Do I have to un-bridge the ports to be mirrored or what is the catch here ?
According to http://www.icplus.com.tw/pp-IP178C.html though, the 178C does not support port-mirroring.
Could you folks in that case, remove the menu option in the RouterOS ?
Thx for any hint.
