missing 'compression' in RB 433?

Has the compression feature in wireless been missing in RB 433?

currently compression is not supported on RB400 series.

Hey, we just had to press an RB433 board into service for backhaul and after wasting some considerable time fussing around w/trying to get compression going I found this post.

Any chance you guys can turn compression back on for RB433 boards on the next 3.x build? I don’t think anybody’s changing their purchasing decisions based on this undocumented “feature”.

Or, at least have the CLI reject the command with a notice that it’s been disabled for 433 boards for whatever reason, save future victims some time…
