I never see this!! A configure a hotspot and when someone login, the MK crash! nothing access it, the keyboard stop, ony came back whith a reboot, ou poweroff .
I think is someone bug in the version, because whithout hotspot, ony wireless everybody access normal.
Can somebody help me?
what RouterOS version do you have? what is seen on the screen when the crash happens?
My MK is 3.20 !
Nothing is showed in screen, the machine crash, nothing funciona, a need hard reset on button .
I get the same thing here. Also 3.20 with external radius authentication…
I had the same problem, I tried like 10 times to re-configure my MK box using Winbox, but always same happend.
Until I decide to start a fresh MK installation using just the terminal or console (no winbox interface).
I add interfaces addresses and create Hotspots manually by terminal.
I don’t know why but the MK start to work nice… so now I tried to don’t touch hotspot config by winbox.
In other hands I include in Hotspot DNS name the MK box local IP.
Those were the changes that I made to get the MK stop crashing.
With 3.20 i had great instabilities with the WIFI interfaces, very unstable. Maybe there is a problem there. I downgraded to 3.17 an now all is ok.
I had the same problem:
RouterOS 3.20 and 3.22 hangs (100% cpu) after successful login.
Solution:
Dont use “Address Poll” at User Profile. Set it to none!!
If you need to use “Address Pool”, set it at “Server Page”.
what you want to say with this “Server Page”
