Hi everyone,
I have a query. I want to combine my bandwidth using MLPPP/MPLS.
I have ONE ADSL2+ line but I can create multiple PPPOE connections on it using the same settings (even same User ID and password - it works on my ISP). So in one modem I could have say 3 PPPOE connections and 3 public IPs. Now I just want to combine this bandwidth. So how can I do it ? Would single link MLPPP work in this case ?
The bandwidth will indeed double due something about ATM and Frame Relay. Someone from my ISP is already doing it..

To use MLPPP (multi link PPP) you have to specify more than one interface for a PPPoE client. That’s all. There is no other way

MPLS is a completely different thing, and is not related to MLPPP: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MPLS
Hi,
Thanks for the reply !
So what I am looking for will work through MPLS(that is how someone else has done it) and RouterOS will help me out ?
Which router should I buy that is ADSL2+ compatible and preferably has the RouterOS preinstalled?
I am in India if that helps.
Just need to have multiple WAN interfaces and G.DMT mode to establish multiple PPPOE connections in the same router.
Thank you for the help ![]()
Also, how can I send you a PM with the link to a forum here in which the user has shown a bit how he has done it.
Edit: Can it be done by installing routerOS on a pc?
Post the link to the forum here please.
Yes RouterOS is x86 compatible so it can work on a PC.
What is the MAC address of the AC of your ISP, is it 00:90:1A:43:xx:xx ?
I am also very interested in this topic.
Aha I found it http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r21581438-Slight-OT-for-here-Linux-as-MPLS~start=20 I feel so good making 3 PPPoE connections to my ISP >:]
