Mni PCI R52H damaged ?

Hi,
On our Hotspot access point somebody broke the antenna, so the wireless card was on for some time with a broken omni antenna. After we replaced the antenna with a new one but (as I was not there) they forgot to turn off the routerboard (mini PCI) while replacing the antenna.

Now the wireless is working, but the signal is a bit strange ( i think that it was better before). Is my mini PCI card now damaged?
I mean if the card is running with a broken antenna, and if they replaced the antenna without turning the router off, should i fear that the card is now damaged? And how can i check it?

Maybe burnt, maybe not.

Use your laptop and see how the signal is at distances that you know it worked properly before. If the signal is lower than normal, or the range is lower, then replace the card.
