Is there a way to configure a Mikrotik so that it can be installed in a vehicle (i.e. a Limo or Bus) so as to be a roaming hotspot? This would be designed solely to provide the vehicle’s passengers with access. Is there a specific model of Mikrotik that would be best suited for this application? Is there a way to plug in a PCMCIA adapter so as to provide broadband access?
As Always, thanks in advance.

Should I assume the answer is no?
The 112 can handle this..
1 radio for AP
1 radio for client..
I have heard of a way to make the router roam to the best connection available…
Then create a VPN tunnel back to the NOC and out from there…
I have heard of it being done in service vans…
BUT keep in mind… you are “stealing” access if you arrent on your own network !!
If you have a public net in your area IE City, you may be able to work something with them…

The theory is to plug a sprint broadband card into the Mikrotik and pay for a broadband subscription and let that be my internet connection. Is that possible?
this is the crux of everything I am trying to do. If this is possible, Success! If not, Defeat.
Yes it is possable…
I havent seen any MiniPCI “sprint cards” or ant miniPCI Express MikroTiks (YET) (they are supposed to be in the works…)
You are stuck with the RB200 series for now..
