Mobility Driver for r52

Hello,

Does mikrotik have a mobility drivers for r52n and r52 that can be installed in Win XP? coz I want to change the mini pci wireless adapter in my laptop to r52 or even r52n if that is possible, uibiquiti does have that, but I don’t think XR2 can fit in my laptop, even so it will drain a huge amount of current and empty my battery very fast, and finally I want a dual mode capability .

Thanks ..

Yes, we have driver for Windows,

Thank you sergejs
Another question can I use it with netstumbler using atheros mode ? not NIDS 5.1 mode , using the provided driver .

Thanks.

Hi

I have tried that specific driver (http://www.mikrotik.com/download/wireless_abg.zip) but my XP Pro laptop does not correctly install the new hardware.

Is there another driver I can try?

For your info. I have removed the wireless mini pci card supplied with my laptop, bought the Mikrotik R52n card and placed that in my laptop.
The previous card also had a “Main” and “Aux” connection whereas the R52n card does not have these labels.

When I browse my laptop to Device Manager and view the properties of the network adaptor and then try to view details of the driver, the message posted from XP is that no driver is installed.

Does anyone have any ideas and/or feedback?

Thanks.

So is there anyone who is using R52 in their laptop? Or, perhaps R2n? If yes, what drivers are you using?

I am using an R52 in two of my laptops. I have used the MT drivers in the past, and I can’t find the drivers I use now.

I’ll see if I can find them. I’ve got quite a bit of stuff on a storage server here, probably just overlooked it.

Thanks I gonna try it. I found some drivers here:
