Hi all
I have a maxxwave 3g router that uses the routerboard 411UAHR. The modem that came with the unit was a gobi2000 and was used for about 3 months without issue. The modem no longer connects, there were no configuration changes or provider changes, one day it worked the next it did not. Support requests to baltic networks, where I bought the unit, have gone unanswered. So I bought two additional modem cards off ebay that are on your hardware list, and pulled one out my laptop in the hope of being able to get it going again. The board has had its firmware upgraded and the routeros version is 5.18, latest stable at this time. I am testing with a t-mobile now, but originally I was using at&t, apn, username and password were correct and sim does connect on other devices. Here is a list of the modems I tried with all relevant details. Sorry for the length.
*******Gobi2000 (original unit)
This modem worked for about 3 months without issue on numerous providers. Now:

No longer has a serial port. I suspected the modem may have failed, but as you will see below another gobi is showing the same problems.

So, what I'm understanding is the two gobi's are both not offering a serial/usb port. Two broken modems seems unlightly. The two globetrotters are very similar but not the same. The at_oifc=? is showing the one to not offer the ndis and modem option. But regardless neither connect.
Many thanks, oh and routerboard and routeros are very impressive!
