Modify Hotspot - remove login, show ads

I would like to create a hotspot in which a user sees a page of ads, news, rss feeds and the such but then can continue browsing after seeing this. Is this possible?

I’m looking at the login.html page but I don’t see how a user can get around the proxy without a login or clicking a button.

Why not just use the trial-user button as the login?

Change the content of login.html to suit what you want to display then relocate the trial-user button.
Then setup a trial user with 7days active login time and set the accounts refresh every 7 days.
