Monitor Devices behind hotspot with agent problems

I have a dude server that sits in my home office. I have about 300 remote networks I monitor with dude. I ran into a wierd one today though that doesnt make sense. I normally setup the remote location using right now a routerbaord 433ah with dude. I setup the admin password and thats it for the dude. I then setup the rest of the router and I also use a hotspot.

I setup the server to monitor the network with the rb433ah as a agent. I only use the ping service since all I really care about is the ap’s and other devices behind the network are up and running. Now when I enable the hotspot on this network the ping probes fail every time. I have tried adding in firewall rules to allow icmp through the network. I have add walled garden exception’s for ap’s and even just icmp and still unable to monitor the ap’s on inside of the network. Once I turn off hotspot though everything probes fine.

Any ideas would be helpful and I hope I provided enough info if not let me know and I can post more.

Walled garden rules mean that local users will be able to access those machines, what you really want to do is add an IP binding bypass for those specific devices you want to access/monitor.

I have the dude running on a server in a central location. I have loaded the agent package onto the mikrotik 433 at a remote location, so I can monitor the clients behind that are NAT’d. However, cannot find instructions on how to set it up. When I try to add the public address of the 433 w/ username and password it says “disconnected” after trying to connect. I have added a firewall rule for the 2210. Is there another step to getting the agent to be recognized or getting the dude to log into that agent?
Thank you!

Try to add some firewall or security system to detect it..

Good Day!!

Albert
