I have The Dude 2.1 running on an XP Pro sp2 P4 2.6g with 248mb of ram. I would like some input on the ping intervals. How often should I ping the internet, to prove connection out. How often should I ping the routerboards. I have about 30 RB’s I want to monitor plus the connection outside my network.
I have the ping set for probe interval 30, probe timeout 30, probe down count 2.
