more speed whit R52Hn

Hi

I have a link in my lab whit following hardware.

1 RB433ah whit 1 R52Hn and a jirous duplex antenna
and the other site whit the same setup.
the both have routeros 5.0rc1

Today i achieved a link whit 100mbit duplex udp and 50mbit duplex tcp.

Is their any other configuration to get higher speed or do i have to upgrade to dual-nstreme?

some info:

I run Brdige-Station WDS
5Ghz freq. 5805
nv2 nstreme
dual chain whit above control

So my question is if i have to upgrade to dual-nstreme to get 100mbit duplex tcp.

is it a stupid question ?

You’ve enabled both chains, on both sides, with two antennas or a dual-polarity antenna (is this what that “duplex” antenna you mentioned is?), and you’re using the extension channel with 20mhz width?

Look at the tx/rx datarates and see if they are at the max. what are you using to speed test with, and do the CPUs hit 100% on either side when you are testing? (built-in bandwidth test with tcp? (in which case it might be a cpu problem) what does it get on udp?)

If you put it in 802.11 mode is your CCQ always 100%/100%?

If its not always 270/300mbit on the wireless link, you could try each chain on separate physical antennas with some space between them.

yes it is a jirous whit dual-polarity antenna. and i am using the extension channel whit 20mhz width.

Iam using bttest on two laptops in each end and hitting 50mbit duplex tcp traffic and 100mbit duplex udp traffic whit ack around 10-15ms.

The link stays stable in 270/270 mbit.

I have not tested it in 802.11 mode only nv2 nstreme. I should try that.

How much could i get in speed?

Keep in mind the ethernet ports on the 433 are only capable of 100mbit each way.

What do you get when you run a UDP bandwidth test directly from one router to the other? (receive, send, and both)

well i guess that I cant achieve higher speed than this?

Wow, nice result! congratulations

only thanks to you guys at mikrotik

please could you post config and what the distance between both point as signal -37

dude, read from the start. Its in my lab whit an distance of 20m :stuck_out_tongue:
and its an ordinary wds setup whit wireless N mode and nv2 whit tdma 1ms. dual chain whit above control.

outside the lab we have an ptp link thrue some trees  where we use rb711 whit the same config and achieve stable 40mbit duplex upd traffic. this is just because we can just use one chain.
This link only works whit r5.0rc1. when we used 4.11 the signal and the ccq was horrible and not stable. whit r5.0rc1 its stable and havent drops anyting for a week.
the distance is about 500m whit an signal -68 and ccq about 80
