Move config from x86 to routerboard

Is it possible to move configuration from x86 PC to a routerboard?

I know that the interface will not match, but as soon as I connect and fix/match the interfaces everything should be ok?
Or it is a bad practise that will lead to problems in near future ?

I would suggest next steps:

  1. Terminal> /export file=file_name
  2. Edit the created file.
  3. Use this file on the new RB.

I am afraid that the x86 PC is not booting anymore :frowning:
So, I cant export the file

Move the hdd to another pc…

yes its possible or you can move a backup file run it from there

Importing config script will not prevent device from booting. Anyway, do it block by block and think about what are you doing.
