So, I’m running a CHR and initially let it put The Dude’s data in the default location on the primary disk. After a while, I decided I wanted to move it to a separate disk so I:
- Stopped the Dude
- Attached a separate disk, and formatted it
- Moved the Dude database over to the new disk
- Reconfigured The Dude to use the new storage location
- Started the Dude
I had tried to move The Dude’s default MIBs and SVGs to the new disk as well, but it wouldn’t let me. I copied them to the new location, as well, but they all disappeared as soon as I started The Dude and the originals were back. If I try to simply delete the originals, I get “action failed (6)”. Am I just stuck with these files on my primary disk until the end of time, now? I’m not really in the mood to rebuild my CHR from scratch.
