Hi everybody,
we have 2 x86 computer with ROS license 6 on board. We would like to replace both machine with a couple of newest servers.
Question: can I move the license?
Of course the old servers will be dismissed…
Thanks in advance…

License is always “attached” to the disk. You can move the licence together with the disk - it’s the only option. If the hard drive is broken, you can ask for a “replacement key” (it can cost few $) to install it on a new one - but MikroTik can ask you to send them the broken one
.
The rest of hardware doesn’t matter, only the disk matters
.
Thank you dasiu.
One of the two server has IDE disk… It is impossible to install it on a new hardware… Only SATA disk allowed…
Maybe the other one… I’ll check…
Bye
