Hello Everyone,
How do I test if my MPLS is working.
I can see neighbors and Lables for each IP.
But just to confirm how do I?
Thank you.
Hello Everyone,
How do I test if my MPLS is working.

Thank you.
What I do is create a VPLS tunnel and add an IP at both ends on the same subnet (just a temporary IP for testing). Don’t advertise these IPs over OSPF - just ping one from the other, with don’t fragment set, size 1500. If it makes it through, great. If it doesn’t make it through but smaller packets do, you have an MTU limitation somewhere.
If using winbox and you do a traceroute it should show mpls in the trace. Here is a example video that has MPLS and VPLS and lots of errors if I remember correctly. I might have edited out the errors but I don’t remember. Either way it should help.
network = mpls = vpls = pppoe
Thanks guys..
Now my next problem arises.
Router A - Router B
Everything works fine users are able to get internet, ppoe works fine. Problem is I am unable to ping the AP’s and clients stations.
I tried adding an IP on thr VPLS/Bridge still nothing. Please help.
Thank you.

Ping times will not be reported correctly.
• Because of the MPLS ICMP behavior, the only ping you will see for all hops is the full roundtrip. (from doc.)
OK.
So how do I access these AP’s on Router B?
mmm… i think you need to have access, but why you haven’t maybe dependent e on your configuration.
