can someone help with this at all.
i have got clients authenticating via pppoe to the radius server but i am lost on how to assign an ip address to each user
if someone can point me in the right direction i would be very grateful!

I guest you must setup DHCP server service in your Mikrotik Box then bind that DHCP service to the PPPOE interface so that your PPPOE users will get an IP.
I am curious did you get your Radius running via MS-IAS server? If so could your share your problems faced during the deployment.
I had a article write up a few weeks ago on this topic and it was really tricky but I got it after match and mixing some ideas obtain from friends over this forum!
