Hi everyone …
I’m interested to know if I’m able to play with msn ports…
example: I have clients that are connected to my AP that uses mikrotik OS and they are all limited let’s say to 128kbps, is it possible to have only msn port without limit .. so they can chat (voice and video chat) without limit
so they get better quality .. other ports like downloading and stuff should be limited as usually …

I’m thinking something along the lines of a transparent proxy with your 128k limit, but I don’t know how to exclude MSN messenger. It could probably be done, but I haven’t tried yet.

how to mangle:

how to limit:

you can do that using simple queue or queue tree

could someone give me an example .. I’ve been reading but couldn’t figure it out ..

so what I need is: no limits for video and audio streaming in msn messenger .. but other limits should be applied .. like downloading and web surfing …
