MT AS A BRIDGE DOESNT PASS DHCP REQUEST

hi
i setup MT as AP-Bridge, setup bridge port and connected it to a DHCP server.
everything works fine, when i connect to MT AP, i get an IP address from the DHCP server.
now i tried to make a firewall rule to drop all p2p traffic (FW, Protocol all P2P, action DROP).
it also worked fine for few days, then suddenly when i connect to this AP i cant get an IP address from the DHCP server.
it stayed unable to pass dhcp requests for couple of days, untill i removed this rule, then rightaway, everything works fine again, i am able to get an IP.
i am woundering what happened? how come this firewall rule effected the DHCP requests? i am on 2.94

thanks.

Can you post the firewall rule you have.

this:

/ip firewall add chain forward p2p all action drop

That should work fine. Maybe its a bug. Try upgrading to the latest version.

any other suggestion than a bug? i have the latest version anyway.

There must be something else you have configured that causes this to happen. Does anyone know how to post the entire config?

You stated you were on version 2.94, but thats not a version. Did you mean 2.9.4 or 2.9.40 ?
