MT as PPPoE terminator problem

Hi.

I have MT 3.15 on Asus P5BV-C/4L with Core 2 Duo Processor E8200
Configured this box as PPPoE concentrator with 50 Vlans on ether2 and static ip on ether1.
Auth and speed limits are in radius. Speed limit is in&out for each session.

Problems begins when i have ~250 sessions online and in this time ~30Mbit is running via my box.
There is packetloss ~5%, cpu load jumps from 30 to 60%.

Any ideas ?

P.S. i’ve tried to downgrade to MT 2.9.51 - but result is the same :frowning:

Try preloading all queues instead of creating them on demand. In my scenerio i’ve about 20 small pppoe concentrators (max. 40 clients, on main access point) and one gateway with internet connection, firewall and traffic shapping and works nice, without loses… :wink:
