suggested setup:
MT, port 1 spectrum cable, port 2 starlink, port 3 UDMpro.
i want to run two separate Wlans on the UDMpro
tag each wlan with a separate vlan so i can route out each separate wlan to it’s
designated gateway…
anyone any suggestions if this would work, if so how ?
the UDMpro only does load balancing, and ubiquity does not even have this on their ‘nice to have list’ ..
finally got the Mikrotic HEX in, yes here’s the idea:
MK port 1, spectrum
MK port 2, starlink
MK port 3, UDMPRO
currently all WIFI uses 192.168.0.1 for GW, to the UDMPro, and it will WAN failover if spectrum dies.
what i’m looking for is the ability to still use failover, but also being able to separate WIF on the UDM, so regular wifi (as it is now) 192.168.0.1
but a new WIFI, on the UDM pro that only uses the starlink -link unless spectrum is dead, then all traffic needs to be moved to the surviving link.
it’s a bit cryptic, but if anyone has done this before let me know.
