I have a number of hot spots configured the same, makes it easy for techs to troubleshot. We have remote dude servers at each location, however, the issue is that the locations have the same IPs and same building numbers. So, short of renaming everything a map, is there a way to tell the notifications to list what map it came from? Or its agent maybe?
[Device.Name] is [Device.Status] in [Device.NetMaps]
Is my standard subject to a notification email. netmaps substitutes in the map the device is on.
You could put whatever information you wanted in one of the three custom fields and display it in the notification by calling [Device.CustomField1]
Hmm. . I did put devicemap in there, but its not sending it. Will play with it a bit more. I thought about the custom, but the whole point was not to put something extra in.
