Multi VLAN, VLAN Trunking on Point-to-Multipoint Bridge

Hi everybody,

(1) Has anybody deployed a Point-to-Multipoint Bridging using MT ?
Can you give any advice regarding such configuration ?

(2) Does MT support VLAN Trunking (using the new 2.8.15) ?
MT 2.8.15 :
VLAN - IEEE802.1q Virtual LAN support on Ethernet and WLAN links;
multiple VLANs; VLAN bridging

(3) How to deploy VLAN bridging on a Point-to-Multipoint configuration?
Need advice.

1: afaik it’s not possible to bridge over an wlan interface in station mode.
try EoIP tunnel

2: its mentioned in the docs, but haven’t used it yet.

3: i would guess, that vlan tagging will work through the EoIP tunnel.

In v2.8.15, there is a station-bridge mode, but you have to have MikroTik on all clients.

nice!
so it becomes possible to build a bridged environment without using EoIP tunnels? simply stuffing all the wlan interfaces and ethernet interfaces one wants to in a bridge?
and it is not wds?
any disadvantages?

it seems not to be in the documentation or changelog, yet .
