Multi WAN- inbound load balancing.

Hi,

I’m still new to Microtik and I would like to find out if Microtik supports the following setup?

I have 2 WANs, WAN1=dedicated 1mbps and WAN2=10mbps shared. Internet users will utilise the WAN1 (1mbit) connection fisrt, if the bandwidth exceeds 1mbit, the rest of the traffic will route to WAN2. Does this works? Can anyone guide me on how to set it up? Thanks.

That kind of load balancing will not work properly. You need persistant load balancing for every address pair.

Use this example:

just make 11 streams and mark 10 of them with one mark. This way you will have 10:1 load balancing
