Multi-WAN LB & Failover

Hey there forum.

So, I’ve seen this one
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Load_Balancing_over_Multiple_Gateways

and I’ve seen this one
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Load_balancing_multiple_same_subnet_links

both well written and, though for difference scenarios, help to paint a clear picture of what the solution to my problem might look like.

Is it possible, with RouterOS, to programmatically split LAN-originated masqueraded traffic across two links (each with its own gateway) in such a way that, if one of the links goes down, the other one gets all the traffic?

If so, is it also subsequently possible to configure dnat + snat rules for servers behind the same RouterOS instance?

I’m sure these questions have been asked and answered before - links or even just hints as to where to look are appreciated!
